Vale David Park

The GPS Rugby Community farewells one of its true legends David ‘Parky’ Park, a man whose connection to the club ran deep and true across generations. Following proudly in the footsteps of his father, Ron, Parky forged his own remarkable legacy in GPS colours, playing more than 200 senior games and becoming a familiar and respected figure both on and off the field.

His contribution to the club extended far beyond his playing days. Parky served with dedication as a committee member, secretary and club president, later recognised with Life Membership, a fitting tribute to his unwavering commitment and service.

Our thoughts are with his wife Sue, his sons James and Dugald his daughters Lauren and Courtney, and the many friends, teammates and members who were lucky enough to call him a mate.

A life so deeply woven into GPS, hi will be greatly missed.
